Dr. James Oren Barnes, Ed.D is a commissioned law enforcement officer and Criminal Justice Instructor at Crowder College with more than 30 years of experience in policing, investigations, and education. A two-time Officer of the Year with the Neosho Police Department and Gold Star Teacher of the Year at Crowder College, he is recognized for servant leadership, emergency preparedness expertise, and his commitment to mentoring the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
