Information is increasingly available, but what to do with it? And in this age of deepfakes and misinformation, how should it be used? This workshop will teach the foundations of open-source data collection, from online searching to video authentication and satellite image analysis. 

Whether you're interested in understanding the criminal justice system from non-official records, how to identify dis- and misinformation, how to support legal accountability in transnational crimes, or are fascinated by data, this workshop is for you! No prior OSINT experience is required.
