Alexis Rain Rockwell is an Assistant Professor and Online Programs Coordinator in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice at the University of South Alabama. Alexis received her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Her research interests include police culture and police policies, including body-worn camera and use-of-force policies as well as police officer mental health. Her research utilizes both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Her recent work has appeared in Police Quarterly, Policing: An International Journal, and Policing: A Journal of Policy and Practice.
